Great White Shark
did you know that great whites are actually super curious? they like to test bite things they've never seen before and are one of the few marine animals who'll poke their head out to see what is happening outside of the water!

Seahorses
seahorses don't have stomachs! since they are stomach-less, food passes through their bodies quickly so they need to constantly eat. seahorses also often have long-term relationships with their mates and have a mating dance!

Giant Isopods
the giant isopod is a crustacean! they constantly live in a state of semi-hibernation, slowing down their metabolism and energy levels in order to be able to go long periods without meals!

Whale Shark
the whale shark is the most harmless shark of their species. their teeth are so tiny that they can only eat jellyfish, krill, crabs, fish larvae, and small schooling fish! they are estimated to be able to live over 100 years!

Gar
one of my favorite fish! they date back to the cretaceous period (around 65-100 mil. years ago!) they are named after their long spear-like apperance, the word gar means spear! they hunt their food by stalking prey or waiting for prey to pass them!

Orcas
otherwise known as killer whales! did you know that once a calf is born, they stay with their mother and siblings for their entire lives? existing as the only known species where both female and male offspring stay with their mother/immediate family forever!

Electric Eels
an electric eel is not actually an eel! they are knifefish, they got their name from their eel-like body, they have the ability to deliver shocks at up to 860 volts! + they are virtually blind!
